Q. ARE YOU SELLING GENUINE HONDA PARTS AND ACCESSORIES?

Yes, the parts listed in our OEM Parts Finder are genuine Honda motorcycle, ATV, scooter parts, starters and starter motors. There is a Honda genuine accessories catalog on the catalogs page which includes genuine Honda accessories for motorcycles, dirt bikes, ATVs, sport bikes, utility vehicles and scooters.

Q. DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL PRICING FOR MOTORCYCLE SHOPS/BUSINESSES?

To be fair to everyone the price is the same for all customers.

Q. DO YOU HAVE PARTS FOR OLDER BIKES?

We do not claim to be a source for discontinued parts and we currently do not list which parts are no longer available. We ask that you submit a parts request or call to check the parts available for motorcycles 15 years or older. We can get these parts if they are still available from Honda. If the parts needed are no longer available there may be an aftermarket source that makes a replacement part for the discontinued item.

Q. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT TO DO YOU ACCEPT?

Honda Parts Direct currently accepts debit and credit card payments including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Q. IS MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD CHARGED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I SUBMIT AN ORDER?

Online orders do not charge your debit/credit card immediately. First, we verify the availability of the parts ordered from our website before charging the customer’s card. If all ordered parts are available, then the card is charged to continue the order process.

Q. WHEN IS MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD CHARGED?

Your debit/credit card is only charged after we’ve verified the parts within your order are available. We process the charges to the card then because this allows us to know if the customer has the available funds or credit to make the purchase. We have acquired too many slow moving parts due to attempting to process the charge after the order has been received in, only to find out the customer did not have the available funds for the purchase. This cuts down on the stocking costs, therefore keeping our prices below dealership prices. If the card is denied, we will contact you via email or by phone to let you know.

Backorders: If an item is backordered we will notify you via e-mail or phone call. Shipments scheduled more than 30 days after the order date: We will notify you via email and give you a cancellation option. In some cases an item may move to backorder status once ordered from Honda. This is out of our control and we will allow you to cancel only the backordered item. If you do wish to continue with any order and a part is on backorder, you will be charged for this item at that time. This is the only way for us to secure the part from Honda.

Q. DO YOU HAVE ALL MY PARTS IN STOCK?

We do stock some parts but Honda has too many sport, touring and cruiser motorcycle, ATV, dirt bike and other OEM parts for us to stock all of them. In most cases there will be at least one item that will need to be ordered. By us keeping our stocking costs low, we are able to sell the parts at a discounted price.

Q. CAN I ADD TO AN EXISTING ORDER?

Unfortunately we are not able to add to an existing order. If additional parts are needed, give us a call or place an additional order online.

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

In most instances, we receive ordered parts from Honda within a couple of business days. We do our best to ship your complete order the same day as the parts were received. You should receive your order within 5-10 business days from the date the order was placed.

Q. HOW DO I KNOW IF ANY OF MY PARTS ARE ON BACK ORDER OR DISCONTINUED?

We will contact you via email or by phone as soon as we find out if you have any parts on back order or have been discontinued. There are occasions that a part may be back ordered only temporarily. To keep costs down and prices low, we ship all orders complete unless there will be a longer delay due to back orders.

Q. HOW WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?

99% of the orders placed with Honda Parts Direct are shipped through FEDEX GROUND. Large orders and orders for frames will be shipped via a freight trucking service.

Q. DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

Honda Parts Direct offers expedited shipping. But, the shipment can only be made once the parts have been received.

Q. WILL YOU SEND MY PARTS TO A P.O. BOX?

We prefer not to send orders through the postal service. We do not have tracking info for P.O. box shipments. Therefore we will not be held responsible for shipments through USPS.

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING FEES?

Shipping fees are within $11.00 AND UP on most orders. The customer incurs additional shipping fees for oversize/overweight orders, which may not be figured until after the order has been placed. The customer will be contacted via phone or email if additional charges apply.

Q. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY OR OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S.?

Unfortunately we cannot at this time.

Q. RETURNS

Returned packages without a return number will be charged the return freight as well as additional freight back to the customer.

Q. HOW DO I GET A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER?

The customer must contact us via phone or email to receive a return authorization number. Returns are only allowed once we determine what the customer is sending back and have issued a return number. Returns must be in the original unopened package and the part number must be legible. Remember, no returns allowed on electrical items. No returns allowed after 15 days.
