Honda® Sport Bike Parts & Accessories

Honda® Sport Bike Parts
If you love motorcycling because you want to really engage with the pavement and the curves, you might be a sportbike rider. These bikes are designed to cultivate a close connection between rider and machine, so you can really feel in control. With these machines, you get performance, rideability, and power. They also have a responsive suspension that hums with direct feedback while still remaining comfortable.
Every element of a sportbike is designed to maximize performance. You can expect a forward-leaning, engaged riding position with your legs pulled in and hugging the bike. This aerodynamic contour generates less resistance, assisted by aerodynamic fairings added to the bike.
A lightweight chassis is another characteristic of sport motorcycles, so they can be extra nimble and responsive. They usually have internal features that make it easier to handle your bike such as high-performance brake pads, combined with disc brakes with multi-piston calipers that clamp onto oversized vented rotors. Large front and rear wheels help you enjoy life in the fast lane without losing control.

Honda Naked Sport Bikes
Like with all motorcycle categories, there’s some blurring of the lines, but generally, a naked bike is one that lacks a full fairing windscreen, and generally has less bodywork concealing the engine. The classic naked bike posture is fairly upright, while a sport bike rider usually has an aggressive, forward-leaning stance. Expect a naked sport bike to split the difference.

Honda VFR 800
Honda has made eight generations of the popular VFR 800 sport touring motorcycle, starting in 1998. This bike succeeded the VFR750F and has a V4 engine. In the US market, the most recent version was sold in two versions: Standard and Deluxe, which includes ABS, traction control, grip heaters, center stand, and self-canceling turn signals. It’s discontinued, but plenty of them are still on the road because they’re made by Honda, of course!

Honda VFR 1200
The VFR1200 is the 7th generation Honda sport touring motorcycle from the VF and VFR line of Honda motorcycles powered by a transverse mounted V4 engine. Discontinued in 2017 because it didn’t comply with emission standards and noise regulations, there are still plenty of these popular bikes on the road. This bike is notable for introducing several new technologies, including the first dual-clutch transmission offered on a motorcycle.
